beautiful resilience

 

In spite of triple-digit temperatures and very little rainfall, the lantana living in the flower beds manage to consistently show off.  The roots have gone deep, and the multicolored blooms just keep coming, providing a paradise for the butterflies.  The leaves haven’t faded and the hardy branches continue to pull the needed nutrients from the soil.   In spite of . . .
